The low table
At the table
The table seats six and there is nothing to reserve — the room is walk-in, and what is open that day is on the counter. A pour is either a gaiwan at the low table, poured through six or seven infusions, or a 500 ml pot for two. Everything on the shelf below can be drunk here before it is bought in a bag.

An hour to slow down and enjoy. Discover traditional teaware, taste two different teas and follow their changing flavours through successive infusions. Your host will guide you through the ritual, share the stories behind the teas and answer your questions.
Flying solo? Come along — we’ll pour you a cup, too. No previous knowledge is needed.

Discover Your Tea
Four teas, four different personalities. Taste and compare them with us, explore their aromas and learn to notice the details that make each one distinctive.
You do not need specialist vocabulary—just curiosity and your own senses. By the end of the session, you will have chosen your favourites and received advice on brewing them at home.

Brew Your Own Tea
How do you make tea taste the way you like it? In this practical workshop, you will take brewing into your own hands.
We will show you how to use the teaware and choose the amount of leaf, water temperature and brewing time. Then you will brew, taste and experiment for yourself, with guidance from your host.
Leave with a useful skill and a simple guide for your tea moments at home.

Clay + Tea
First we sip. Then we make.
A relaxed tea ceremony followed by time to create. Paint a ready-made tea cup or bowl, or shape your own from clay and return to decorate it — a personal piece for your everyday tea ritual.
